why did you choose the blog title you did?

well, in latin “missit me dominus” translates into “the lord has sent me.” this is a phrase that jesus states at one point in his life, but when jehanne spoke to charles in greeting at chinon, she told him almost the same thing when she said “the king of heaven has sent me to bring you and your kingdom help.” thus i found it rather fitting to utilize this phrase, especially with the origins of it and her being rather religious rather than focusing on a more generic title!

not to mention latin is snazzy and i love using latin when i can—

Fluff :: What hits their soft spot? Does anything them into emotional goo?

What hit’s Gareki’s soft spot is mostly women, because in his Extra/Flash back he see’s a man beating up a woman asking for all her money and Gareki literally let’s the guy turn around to beat Gareki up so he’d stop hitting the girl and after that happened he took the guys wallet and gave it to the girl telling her to take it and run away from that place.

And Gareki isn’t really one to turn into emotional goo, but he does express a lot of emotion.

Wardrobe :: What’s their fashion style? Do they have any staple pieces?

Gareki’s fashion style is literall “Torn-hanging off my body, gloves, also featuring goggles, jackets and boots, sometimes shorts too” he also wears a lot of pink too.

What exactly is a Strand? How does it work?

Staaand. But man Kevin wrote this neat explanation once, I’m too lazy to find if it still exist haha. I try to be coherent ;;; THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG AS HELL. Stands are really damn neat.

 Stand is an ability developed from something called ‘hamon’/’ripple’ that is uses Sun’s rays through breathing - it then delegates the body with ripples of solar energy. (Yeah that’s it really). It’s used on the first two parts. 

Part 3 then introduces the Stands (‘ghostly ripple’, yuuhamon) that’s essentially the manifestation of their Ripple. Stand also represents one’s psyche (to some extent anyway). They protect their users but even before Stand is awakened they may protect their users (Yasuho’s Paisley Park for instance)

Most common form is the large ghostly figure - usually some sort of humanoid figure - for example Pucci’s Whitesnake or C-Moon but it’s not by means the only form. There are also Stands like Risotto’s Metallica or Shigechi’s Harvest that are much smaller but appear in crowds. There are also bodysuit sort of Stands (Ghiaccio’s White Album for instance) and Stands tied to objects. That is to say they come in maaaany forms and each have their unique abilities like pucci’s discs, DIO’s stopping of time - they’re not necessarily offensive abilities either. Each Stand has their own Statistics that consists or their  

Stands have a range and they can only act within that range. The further Stand is from it’s user the weaker it is. Also long distance Stands have a tendency to have a low precision (Pucci’s C-Moon for instance - it has 3 kilometers range). Those are called remote Stands - noted that Stand also may also have abilities that work in this manner such as Killer Queen’s Sheer Heart Attack that’s basically heat seeking bomb that can work outside Killer Queens range. 

Usually Stands act according to their users wishes and don’t have any sentience. However there are also Automatic Stands - their users can’t affect their actions. There are abilities that may restrict their users or even Stands that activate after their user’s death such as Notorious B.I.G. Also Pocoloco’s Hey Ya! seems to advice pocoloco but it would never turn against his users. There are always special circumstances if Stand is out of control.

Stands can be developed hereditarily or artificially - Pucci for instance received his abilities through the Stone Arrows. You however need to have an aptitude for a Stand otherwise it might turn against you. 

Only those that have Stand can see them - I stretch this a bit. Also non-standuser can’t harm a stand, I’m also stretching this a bit haha… Also damage that Stands gets reflects to it’s user and the other way around -some Stands are immune to this though. 

A stand user can only use one Stand but they can make their Stands evolve using different ways - take example Pucci’s Whitesnake, C-Moon and finally Made In Heaven/Stairway to Heaven.

Intense thought!

Swift curve was drawn into air as Pucci’s hand swung to the level of his face to order for silence. As it slightly shakily lowered again it revealed closed eyes and fingers pressed tightly over his temple.The middle of his brow heavily furrowed he gave a slow exhale before his eyes batted open wide with heavy focus on them - as if they were fixed onto something in particular. 

And perhaps, in a sense, they were although the thought still lacked a physical form.

♕ - Childhood: When he was small, he wanted to fly. He developed a fascination with flying from a young age. Introduced to angels by his mother, but the image of angels was tarnished by his father who was keen to press him further into science rather than religion. Tony still maintained an appreciation for wings and the concepts of angels, wanting to believe even though he knew science would disprove everything. He wanted to fly away like the angels he’d seen in stories, soar through the skies and distance himself from all the problems he had. 

✄ - Pet peeve: One of Tony’s biggest pet peeves is someone trying to disprove him. He absolutely hates when he’s questioned and forced to have to prove himself, because it involves flaunting his intellect which he wasn’t too keen on doing, and isn’t at an older more established age.
