Ok Alex, I have been having non binary demiboy!Scott McCall thoughts ALL DAY. Focused specifically on nail polish??? Like how he likes to pull colors out of his florals to match. He likes both light and dark colors, depending on his mood. Light seafoam greens, soft rose pinks, lilac, but also dark plum, midnight blue, dark forest greens, and if he's feeling a bit extra punk he'll go with black. Stiles and Derek love to help him pick out the colors and paint with him. Sometimes he'll put the(1/2)

more vibrant colors on his toes because he is still a bit shy to put them on his hands. Sunflower yellows, bright oranges, hot pink, and that old fashioned sexy red. Just. Demiboy!Scott McCall and nail polish.

OH MY GOD. YES ALL OF THIS. 

He definitely learned how to paint his nails slowly. He’s not the most careful person and he rushes. At least he’s not as bad as Stiles, but it takes him awhile to not get nail polish all over his fingers. He learns little tricks to painting, learns when the best moment is to add another coat. He invests in nail strengthening polish so that his nails are really nice even without any color. Eventually he moves to experimenting with colors. He learns how to draw the perfect tip, sometimes he likes combining colors - a pale pink with a soft yellow tips, sky blue with sunset orange tips. Nail art is next - shapes and flowers and dotting. Taping off sections and layer colors. It gets to the point where he can do passable floral to match his outfits. He likes seasonal nail polish, maybe he insists on doing other people’s nail polish. 

And, now I’m thinking about Scott being a nail technician and having an instagram dedicated to nail art. It would be the cutest. Oh no.

What are you reading right now?

@authorkurikuri‘s Stoyd that she wrote for Leigh! super cute, thus far. I’m taking forever because I’m writing, too.

What kind of fics do you like?

Angst and porn and porn and angst.

What gets your goat about fanfics?

I largely reject most fanon characterization of Stiles, Scott, and Isaac. There are a few tropes that I find icky. I -- I’m just kind of picky at this point.

Favourite dumb tropes?

Friends to lovers, witches au, stoner/punk au, friends with benefits who are pining for each other.

Who do you wish there was more fanfic about?

Trans characters, character studies, POLY PACK WHERE EVERYONE IS IN LOVE AND IT’S BEAUTIFUL.

What are you writing now?

Finishing up my baby, Burn This Way, my Sterek swan song, my life’s work. So close, yet so far.
