Emerald was literally shaking as she watched from her hiding spot as Cinder was levitated away by Professor Goodwitch. The desperate pleading look Cinder had shot her, made Emerald's heart hurt... but the former street rat knew better that to take on a fight she had no chance in winning... or surviving.
Emerald: I'm sorry...
????: What are you sorry for?
Emerald stiffened at the soft feminine voice that accompanied the rather solid arm that was suddenly draped over her shoulders. Slowly she turned her head just enough to find herself peering into warm pools of the purest blue she had ever seen.
????: You have nothing to be sorry for. Smart move not messing with Auntie... she'd have messed you up!
Emerald: Auntie?
????: Name's Blanche Arc... and you just saw my Aunt Glyn in action. Makes this whole operation look smooth like butter.
Emerald: Operation?
Blanche: Yeah, the operation. We're all here, aside from Saphie... her little one is teething... poor little guy.
Emerald: Teething?
Blanche: Anyway... Aunt Glyn got her target, so guess I can't let her make me look bad, and not show up with my own, right?
Emerald: Right?
Emerald shivered when she saw the rather malicious smile cross the short haired blond woman's face, and then something clicked. Emerald twisted her body about, slamming her hands against the chest of Blanche.
BUZZ-ZAP!
Blanche gave Emerald's twitching form a soft smile, as she put away her taser and pulled out some zip-ties.
Blanche: Sorry sis... not taking a chance of you using that semblance of yours on me.
Once Blanche had Emerald's hands and ankles secured. She hauled her effortlessly up and over her shoulder, before walking down the hall... vanishing into the very shadows Glynda and Cinder had but a few minutes earlier.
