a little bird told me about the rodimus/blaster ship... and dare i say i am intrigued?

(this is an invitation to ramble about it XD i wanna know more!)

Gonna be completely honest here I haven't done much with this ship lol.

But anyways, here's what little lore I have come up with so far.

Alright, I imagine they would only get serious about their relationship after the good ending of the Lost Light. Their relationship is a bit rocky at first, considering Blaster is one of the mechs who participated in the mutiny (and is very heavily implied to be one of the bots who voted to have him removed as captain). But they eventually talk things through, even if Rodimus isn't very good at it.

But, yeah, that's the main storyline I guess?? I'm sorry I'm tired right now so this might not make a lot of sense lol.

Okay uh, but here's some random little things too.

Rodimus regularly brings up/uses the fact that Blaster was part of the mutiny to get his way in arguments. Blaster honestly feels really guilty about it so he folds pretty easily when Rodimus brings it up.

Rodimus enjoys how much his relationship with Blaster bothers Rewind so he's very open with PDA. Blaster knows what Rodimus is doing but goes along with it because A, he likes the affection. And B, he also enjoys how much it bothers Rewind.

In general they're pretty physically affectionate, in both private and public situations. Blaster in general is actually very affectionate with those he cares for, and Rodimus is possibly one of the most touch starved mechs to exist.

They don't have the healthiest relationship ever (they're both still kinda hung up on exes) but they're working on it. It's kinda hard too though when the ship therapist evaporated and no one remembers him.

Back on a happy note though, Blaster will spend hours searching for new songs he thinks Rodimus would like. Since I believe Rodimus is actually very picky about what music he likes. He'll dance to most songs, but there's only a select few he'll actually listen to because he likes them. (If that makes any sense lol)

And on the other hand Rodimus has spent way too much time and Shanix looking for old human music merch that he knows Blaster likes.
