Only just heard of The Great Yokai Battle of Akihabara special(?) and it’s so charming n fun. I would not expect 3D and the R&M style to blend at all. (Though Ig it works in multiversus too)

Okay. So I think the general consensus in a Pokemon ‘Real World AU’ is that Red would own some kind of rodent since he can’t have a pikachu. Mice, rats, or squirrels usually. However- I’ve been really liking the idea that he would have a cockatiel, mainly because of the colouring, but I also see birds riding on their owners shoulders, more so than rodents.

Also, it’s a little more comical to me. A bird is scarier than a rodent.

I always like the idea of Mt. Silver always seen as ‘Intense Training’ to almost everyone.

Red is a legend, the one who embarked on the ultimate task of staying on the harsh mountain, facing the terrain and the wild pokemon alone.

But that’s the thing, Red went to Mt. Silver yo run away from his problems. People see it as a brave act, but it was cowardly. People look up to him for that action, but he resents that part of his story.

He thought he was making the right decision leaving everything behind and isolating himself, but it ended up being the most selfish act he committed.

He’s the living legend, but really, he’s a kid who made a reckless decision and got praised for it.

okay so i fuck with any and all headcanons for like. everyone. but if you wanna hear my core cast queer headcanons w explanations. check below the cut

Sonic: Primarily romance neutral aroace. He gives zero fucks and he doesn't care for romance. He's just here and vibing. If not aroace he's panromantic or unlabeled. Genderwise he's so unlabeled it's absurd. He/him

Amy Rose: Romance favorable aroace! She'd get in a romantic relationship and it's my humble opinion she'd enjoy it. She'd be weird but she'd have fun. She HAS to unlearn amatonormativity first though because her crush on Sonic is so totally comphet. In that vein if she's not being read as aro she's a lesbian. I can get behind bi Amy too and she's just genuinely like that but it's a stretch. In no world is she straight and she's always aroace first. Genderwise I think she's experimenting for a long time. Never changes her name but sometimes tosses up pronouns. I think she'd like she/it pronouns.

Knuckles: Romance repulsed aro with an aesthetic attraction that leans pan. I don't think he cares but I think he finds the idea of going on dates or being romantic a little sickening. Otherwise he's pan flat out. Agender he/him.

Tails: I don't really fw any particular romantic inclinations for him? If we're going with an older age for him I still don't care much. I think it's gender where it's at for him. I can fuck with basically any gender Tails. Transfem is a fun one but I think I'd settle with somehow nonbinary. Transfem genderfluid Tails anyone? Plus any character who goes almost exclusively by a nickname is trans imo

Shadow: In a shocking twist of events - Shadow to me is unlabeled queer but attraction wise is definitely bi with a masc lean. He totally has absurd guilt over it bc of when he was made. Genderfluid or demi-boy but would never call himself either of those. Would refuse to give his pronouns but absolutely either he/it/they/she in that order or mirror pronouns.

Rouge: Aromantic bisexual. Or aromantic lesbian. I could honestly get down with either. Girly is not straight and she is not engaging in romance. I don't think she's romance repulsed, I think she's generally romance neutral but she does NOT want that for herself no thank you. Confidentally transfem with some sort of femme-leaning xenogender. She/it and collects neopronouns for fun. Absolutely convinces Amy to try a few and gave Shadow a heart attack the first day she said she wanted to do just neopronouns for that day (it's okay he got used to it)

Silver: A guy who's got his shit figured out. Romance favorable aromantic with an aesthetic attraction to guys exclusively. Demiboy who uses he/it and a handful of neopronouns happily. Has been that way for years

Blaze: A girl with none of her shit figured out. She ends up landing on demiro-asexual lesbian and nonbinary. Another person I think would heavily enjoy it/its pronouns. Can you tell the it/its user thinks everyone would like it/its pronouns. Blaze I think is high-femme nonbinary and some days just decides to use it/its exclusively which good for it.
