Okay I want to say this first off.( Kenpachi didn't need to be injured and put out of business to let Ichigo show off. If Kenpachi is so important, this could have been a moment for him to rest, let Ichigo fight so that Kenpachi could regain some strength. It would work cause you know damn well Kenpachi would want to see how strong Ichigo is so he can have a goal to catch up/match/beat Ichigo one day
