intentionally developed as endgame, and did it fucking poorly (aka, the writers’ equivalent of the ‘you tried’ star)

not intended to be endgame, but accidentally (either by virtue of being given the most positive interactions OR by the other potential endgame couples being even more dismally developed) the most well-developed and most logical endgame in the series (aka, the ‘holy shit go back to school and start studying from scratch’ star)

not intended to be endgame, and not given any development that way. as is proper. (aka the writers did their job pt 2)

5. intentionally developed as endgame, did it well, deliberately fucked it up in the last few chapters because dadaism????? who the fuck knows. fuck you.

esPECIAlly in light of 686 like the whole point????? of ichigo + rukia’s ver of memories in the rain was that like.... ichigo’s not kaien!!!! like things were tragic as fuck with kaien but they’re going to turn out ok with ichigo!!!! that was THE juxtaposition except oops he’s, uh, married to someone else AGAIN and god listen l i sTEn how do you fuck up your own poetic parallels THAT MUCH i hate one (1) man and that man is Tite Kubo
