I long for a good friend.

A woman of God I can share my heart with, my deepest feelings with. A sister. A best friend. A feminine companion.

In my time of loneliness, I wait for the Lord to send her to me. For us to cross paths by happenstance. But it is no coincidence that we both have a love for the Lord that binds us like twine, like bundled yarn fibers, you could even say...like two peas in a pod.

We may not agree on everything, and I would welcome rebuke and correction from her the same as I would hope she would from me, a close connection where our love for each other is deeper than surface level comfort, deeper than sweet words to keep the peace.

I would kiss her forehead and cheek, annoint her head, wash her hands and feet, cook for her, send her my favorite articles, recommend books and videos, talk about how gracious God has been to me.

A true sister. My sister in Christ. I love you, and I pray the Lord's good will on you and your family.

How many of you know that we serve an Amazing GOD? He’s a forgiving God! A God that makes a way out of NO WAY! A God that blesses us time after time! If it Had Not Been for GOD I don’t know where I would be! Let me tell you a little about what he’s done for me....
