While stuck in the airport on my way home from Thanksgiving last weekend, I finished reading “The Blacktongue Thief” by Christopher Buehlman. Kinch and Bully Boy have since moved into my brain and refuse to leave. I felt compelled to draw this duo of complete menaces to society. Go read the book. It’s a hell of a fun read.

Top left is Fawnheart; former KP; she-cat. RiverClan Warrior; 12 moons old
Under Fawnheart is Howlingpaw, WindClan medicine cat apprentice; she-cat; 14 moons old. The feathers she wears are violet-backed starling feathers
Next to Fawnheart is Dholepelt, a ShadowClan cat. She's blind (born with sight so bad she can't make out more than blurry colours) and was therefore forced to be an elder. But she still sneaks out to hunt and border patrol; she-cat; 13 moons old
They all met at a gathering and immediately fell for each other. Though they are desperately defying their feelings because it's cross-clan
