I actually got inspired for this fic because of this OC ask I got from a fellow mutual earlier tonight. I'm sorry if Inkubus is OOC at all, I haven't written him in a while so I'm rusty. Enjoy tho <3
Warnings: Inkubus being Inkubus, swearing, mild reference to possible pregnancy (she's not), Canon x OC
"I swear to god, if you don't leave me alone, I'm going to shove that cloak so far up your ass, you're going to taste it."
Inkubus blinked, for once thrown off by the snark that came from Taryn's mouth. "My, my, aren't we testy this afternoon?" he purred, unable to stop from picking at the young woman. "And for the record, it's a coat, not a cloak."
"I do not give a rat's ass what it is," Taryn grumbled, rubbing her temples where a headache had formed. "I'll still shove it up your ass, don't try me."
"I'd certainly like to see you try," the demon replied. "We both know that's a task you're not going to achieve."
"Please shut up," she mumbled, rubbing her hands over her face. "I don't feel well."
"What's the matter?"
"I'm nauseous."
That comment made the demon pause, arching a silver brow. "Is there something else you want to tell me about that?"
"No? What else would I..." Taryn paused, shooting him a dirty look. "I am *not* pregnant, Inkubus. Don't even joke about that."
"I wasn't."
"You are. You have that shit-eating look on your face." She kept the scowl only her face as she went over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water, opening it and taking a long drink from it.
"Besides," she finally continued, setting the bottle on the counter. "We haven't had sex lately anyway."
"Not for lack of trying," he replied.
"Not everyone is always raring to go like you are, you know."
"That's because you humans are too picky."
"I'm not doing this with you." Taryn picked up the bottle again and took another drink. Inkubus huffed.
"Well, if you aren't pregnant," he said. "then what are you so irritable for?"
"I don't know."
Inkubus' eyes narrowed as he looked at Taryn, not believing her for a second. Without another word, he strolled over to the cupboard and opened it, withdrawing a box of crackers and shoving it into her hands. "Eat."
"I'm not hungry."
"Yes, you are. Eat. Don't make me tell you again."
Taryn made a face at the demon, begrudgingly opening the box. She pulled out a sleeve of crackers and opened it as well, picking one up and putting it into her mouth.
Five minutes later, she had demolished over half of the sleeve.
"Okay, so you were right," Taryn grumbled, finishing the bottle of water. "I was hungry."
"I'm always right," he replied, smugness oozing from every word. "You also drank water. I'm so proud of you, love."
