Can you draw Bliss from PPG 2016? How would you redesign and rewrite her if you wanted to?

Okay I got two drawings for you, cannon Bliss and my redesign

Honestly my one problem with Bliss is the fact her anatomy looks weird and her very cyan hair hurts my eyes (oddly enough drawing her made the design look more appealing to me than it does the show)

Then we have bliss if she wasn’t just 50% legs and had hair that wouldn’t hurt my eyes

If I had to rewrite her, I’d literally rather any other story than it just being the professor messing around with different chemicals until he managed to get a kid especially with the retcon of the girls not being the first he created

I mean- the idea of Bliss actually being a fabrication out of Dick’s bootleg powerpuff factory as a survivor of sorts would’ve made more sense to me than anything else (thinking about it just made me wonder how many bootleg Powerpuffs are still out there), either that or just her being from another universe would work too

So I’ve been obsessing over PPGs but like specifically the forth PPG of which there are two. And I made fanart of them, we got Bliss and Bunny

I changed their designs a little bit for funsies, like giving Bliss earrings and giving Bunny little hair loopies. They’re so cute I think they’d be besties even though they’ve never met in canon (and have both been forgotten by Cartoon Network 😢)

I might draw more of these twos, drawing in the PPG art style is so joyous.

Theres nothing i enjoy more than turning bad characters into BADDIES!! For Bliss I decided to use silver to contrast Princess wearing gold, and the other colors were already taken. Her original always hair reminded me of the moon so I leaned into the motif by added one of those circle belts and jewelry. Her dress is a mix of vintage glamour and y3k with a mesh stomach, slits, and holographic wings connected to her arms with bracelets. I still wanted to include some of her original design so i gave her a split dye and chrome heart accessories. Completing the look are teardrop earrings.

The doll i want to use is the AA candy sweets but she's $70 on amazon so I'm scoping out ebay to see if she's available for cheap prices. If not then I can go with Lady Diva or another doll, as long as they have a brown skin tone.

Your Bliss redesign is so good that it is canon to me, the blue haired one doesn't exist, gone reduced to atoms

You are welcome to accept Power of Five Bliss as the true Bliss, or make your own!

Honestly it's very flattering how much my remake of her has inspired people.

Drew these two (Bliss while I was at work and Bubbles when I got home) on my phone. Probably won’t get to Blossom and Buttercup in this style, but I will draw them all with side by side comparison at some point. I couldn’t NOT choose this song because I made Bubbles gothic lolita and it reminded me of that Daughter of evil pmv of her on youtube.
