My Bliss flower pot is almost done!
Wanted to share the progress with you as I've been less active posting John-Love the last few weeks.
I have all but forgotten about him. Quite the opposite, actually. Real life has interfered. Sort of planned, sort of not and I wanted to publish two of my books asap.
However, my RL is too weird to mix it up with this all so normal Tumblr blog. Tee-hee. (True though.)
What I'm trying to say is... Go get your Bliss plants now and make your own flower pots!
I'd love to see them 🙂
So, what do you think I'm up to?
YES, I'll give my real life Bliss flower a proper Bliss pot. I'll post it when it's finished.
Still can't believe I found Bliss fields in my local garden center!
(I know it's not the real role model flower. But it's close enough for me!)
AB2 - Blissfield, Michigan by Tyler Pate Via Flickr: It's another Saturday night special of the Adrian & Blissfield Dinner Train. Tonight's power is A&B's EMD GP9 #1752, built back in 1957 for the Grand Trunk Western is seen here pulling the Saturday night dinner train across the first trust bridge to be built in Michigan across the River Raisin in Blissfield, Michigan. Today it's really hard to find power like this still running around with out any class one railroads rebuilding them from high hoods to standard cabs, especially one that was built in the late 1950's. After being sold off the the Central Vermont Railroad from the Grand Trunk, the GP9 served on the CV for many years before being sold off again to the Adrian & Blissfield Railroad, and was painted into the Lionel Paint scheme for a while before being painted into the company's lighting striped paint scheme. A&B's Dinner Train can be seen every Saturday night departing from Blissfield East Depot at 7PM and runs all the way to the old Lenawee Junction just north of Palmyra, Michigan and back into the East Depot around 10PM or so.
