"The trouble is, you think you have time."
Waking, drinking, sleeping.
The suntan, the oiled skin. Switching from red to chilled white. Warmth leftover from the morning.
Shadows flutter with the leaves and the fabric breezing over my legs with the wind.
Every girl looks nice in a white dress.

I have a quite a bit of time on my hands these days and yet I still feel relentlessly busy.
Switching to a freelance life is such a strange transition when you're used to the same four walls from nine to five. Each morning I find a new corner that needs to be cleaned out or a new story that needs to be written. Things that I never would have noticed if I was in an office. I get to wear silk dresses & I start drinking wine at 4. Chocolate for breakfast and actually getting to see the sun. Can someone please explain to me why this is so satisfying?
& even with all that play, I've never been so productive.
I know it won't last forever, but I would recommend it to anyone.
