The majestic South Fork of the Snake River pictured here flows across southeastern Idaho through high mountain valleys, rugged canyons and broad floodplains. Located near some of the world’s best known recreation areas, the South Fork is home to 100+ bird species, moose, deer and other wildlife. And it’s a great place to see brilliant fall colors in but truly magnificent any time of year! Photo by Jessica Gottlieb, Bureau of Land Management.
