Hiiii, I don't know if you can maybe help me on this but I thought I'd ask anyway. I'm relatively new working as an AD/SM and I'm still struggling to figure out a layout/method for my blocking script. Do you have any tips? Or could you maybe share how you write stuff down? Thanks a lot!

I actually don’t have any experience with taking blocking, as I’ve only worked as an ASM.
That said, one book that touches on this which I would recommend (mainly because she stresses that blocking will be individualized, even if the foundational information about shorthands is the same), is Laurie Kincman’s The Stage Manager’s Toolkit. We used it for my stage management class, and I found it provided an excellent foundation to build off of.

Someone who thinks it's abuse to block people because you are forcing them away from you and not allowing access to your content but also forcefully silencing them since you are not allowing them to interact with you.
The Blocking anon and their ilk are so weird and hypocritical because they can block who they want and go "just because!!" but then yell and scream bloody murder that they got blocked. It's really control they crave, more than forgiveness. They want to be in the right and to make others agree with them, but won't hear anything from the ones who dare have their own points of view and points about curation and boundaries.

if people send a message (not an ask) asking for blocking anons tumblr would you guys be alright giving it to them in private? /genq i kinda wanna read some of the stuff they put on their blog and see if it's even more unhinged than what they send to your ask box before blocking them myself but if you'd rather keep it to yourselves i get that dw /gen
