Block man is an egocentric character with the power gear,
I don't think that is purely because of the reprogramming. Block man has a perfectionists personality to me: though being a very excited and even short tempered character, he values his job very much. He even wants to build his own temples one day... though it's described as a secret.
His fascination with old temple structures is just so cool. I think he likes to study old architecture and the history of old buildings in his free time. He just doesn't seem like a bot to be able to sit down to me, with all the energy he seems to have. If he can be learning, he'll pick up a book and study... if that makes sense. I think he also picks up a lot of hobbies because of that two... all ones he's only partially skilled in because of his work and interest in architecture. I think he has many lesser interests, like painting or gardening... anything to keep him busy. He likes to think he's spending his time well, and thinks of taking breaks as "slacking." He's also gets on other workers for slacking off as well.
He doesn't like people he thinks are lazy or messy. Block man keeps himself and his space somewhat tidy and takes pride in his work. It's something he's genuinely interested in, and it frustrates him to no end to see someone not sharing that eagerness to work. He also really dislikes when he's disrespected,
Block man doesn't like being made fun of for any reason. I'm sure he's also mistaken banter for mockery many times in the workplace, especially with being called bossy. Overall I think he's stubborn when it comes to conflicting views and opinions. When he gets upset, he shuts down and tries to act very tough and educated; in a way, he makes it so thst he seems bigger than he is.
I don't think a lot of workers seek out his friendship. He's a very dedicated bot, and I'm sure on the outside, doesn't seem like one to even want to hang out. I do think he's social overall, maybe just a bit more independent.
Though he does go to the bar with Impact man, so he at least has one work friend. Speaking of Impact, I think they are very close as friends. Again, Block man is a more independent bot, and I think he thrives more with having more time to himself throughout the day. That won't stop him from spending time with his best friend though. He does care deeply for Impact man, of course.
