Newest, more Escher-like, #tesselling #fishpattern I decided to print as a first run on fabric. Using @speedball_art silver fabric ink on dark blue acetate to be used as a lining for a handmade wool coat. Stay tuned.

Block prints on cotton. Working with Venus symbolism, imageries that speaks particularly loud in the summer months. Rose family, numbers 3 and 5. Amphoras, their shape like a feminine body. Vessels, their timeless usefulness and ancestral feel. The bowl in the middle with the catharsis of steam, water as a mechanism for divination and indulgence in self care. Decorated with rose hips and mugwort. The sensuality of olive oil, worshipful hands. My personal love imagery, the two shells recently given to me and my sweetheart by a friend who we see as a holy figure, we joke that he would marry us even though we do not practice the same religion he does. My partner gifted to me a jar of shells a week after we met. Shells given from an ex boyfriend still decorate the cup holders of my car. A Myrtle branch, the name of the first street I have lived on with a partner.
