Tag List (wip, let me know about suggestions!)
I want to make my blog accessible and keep it organized for myself, so here's the tagging system I came up with for navigation and filtering purposes:
I add .wcl to the creator tag of all mentioned/relevant creators in a post. Eg. for Bdubs, that would be #bdoubleo100.wcl. If there's a creator that you don't ever want to hear about, that's the tag you want to filter if you follow me. I will also use the main tag (#bdoubleo100) for my own posts if I feel like it.
I will tag ships with the shipping name (#ethubs), but not with any broader tags like #hermitshipping.
I will add fanfiction to the tag that best describes what kind of fic it is I'm posting. Most of the time, that's going to be a ship name (#ethubs fanfiction), but there could be gen fic aswell. For my original fic, I'll add #my writing.
I use #rpf for fanwork that isn't in-game or in an alternate universe AND for character study/analysis posts about the creators, mostly so that people that make a strong divide between character and creator for themselves can filter the tag and be done with it (is there a commonly used tag for those except #rpf that's used for blocking/filtering? lmk if so).
Additionally, I use #blockpeople studies for said analysis posts and meta commentary so that I can find them more easily.
When I write stuff that's pure speculation or stands on a weak basis, it's tagged #bronze foil hat theory. because you see when you combine tin from the tin foil hat with copper from the blog url you get the alloy bronze. which is just as far-fetched as some of the stuff i'm writing.
Most of the time I don't have the energy or desire to be critical on the internet, but if you don't want to see any of that from me, you can block #critical lantern. Or unfollow if I annoy you, it's fine I promise.
I'll use more tags to categorize than just the ones I've listed here, but these are the ones that I want to stick to. Again, suggestions are welcome!
