❝ ... i’m full of rage and dangerously stupid, but god is holding me back by the scruff of my neck like an angry kitten. ❞ which in hindsight, probably wasn’t the best way to make an impression on someone, but akira didn’t have it in himself to care at the moment.

WH-CRACK.
Even in a godforsaken city, he still held firm to his faith. it was there. He knew it. He knew it. They were the threads holding him above a fate like the bastard he had hit with a sweep of Rebellious Intent. Spurred by their mockery, and the stirrings of agreement, it was automatic. His temporary weapon was split. The wood could be easily replaced. His pride?
Lancer hovered over them with the pointed end of the wooden pike pressed over their chest. He had been interested in their shared appearance, but a simple doubt brought to light, a terrible itch, a sacrilegious insult. The knight snarled down and bore his fangs. “---To trust God in the light is nothing, but trust Him in the dark-- that is faith. ”

Vigilante justice. ---- That idea seemed a lot cooler in his imagination.
Shishigou wiped the blood from his nose. He ran. A shake of the hand, he left the spatters in the road behind him. Damn. He should have known better than explore the more dangerous parts around the powerplant without checking his equipment! What would have been a grenade, were replaced all with waterballoons! Yeah, good help that did in making that gang angry. He had fought half of them off on his own, used magecraft, but once other weapons were drawn, it was time to go. He had nothing more to give. The mage skidded -- the echo of shouts and chorus of chase rang in his ears. His heart pounded. Shishigou spun on his heel. He stumbled down an alley. He came this way before..... right?
Wrong. Stone wall. Dead end. Shishigou cursed under his breath and turned around. 5 of those ruffians left, knives in hand. He gritted his teeth and held up his fists. What a mess. They called for him again, rushing down the alley. The first within his reach was met with knuckles to the jaw.
She’s pacing back and forth. She’s been wanting to drop by and see how they’re doing. It’s been maybe a day since she last saw them. Maybe two days. That night when she, Roxas, and Sora went to Sora’s house, the very next morning (like a coward), she had left. It had been early and she didn’t even say she was leaving. Didn’t want to wake them up.
“....”
She’ll walk toward the tree and once she does, she’ll go back and walk toward the benches, which is not too far from the tree. She repeats. “Mmmm.....” her hands feels so naked without the mitten gloves. She has no pockets so she’s been hiding her ugly hands with...plastic bags that she found in the trash. Luckily, their black. “What do I doooooo....SOMEONE help meeee.” Would anyone help her? Maybe....Maybe not.

This feeling in their chest is uncomfortable. Even more-so than the nick in the clay of their hand from that arrow that came out of nowhere just seconds before.
They dug their fingers into the fabric of their robes and looked up at the grizzly old man before him.
“Um,” The sensation got worse when they met his eyes, and lessened somewhat when they looked away... But for some reason they couldn’t tear themself away.
What... What was this feeling?

The train screeched to a halt at its stop. Over time, the small(ish) dragon became accustomed to this strange mode of transportation. And thus, he was more willing to get off at unfamiliar stops, his exploration became much more ambitious.
Such was how the dragon ended up in Sector Six. Seemingly ‘normal’ in most regards. For a modern mortal, that is. Still alien to the dragon, however. Hraesvelgr wanders off the platform and simply starts to march down the streets, observing the normal citizens and fellow abductees alike.
That’s when it happens. A sudden pang of hunger. The dragon sighs, hopelessly looking about his surroundings for some way of acquiring food. His eyes catch a passerby ahead of him, and the dragon begrudgingly approaches. The less social contact, the better. The less dragon-related terror he has to deal with, the better, too.
“Do not be cowed by my presence, mortal. I merely wish to ask...”
Hraesvelgr cuts himself off. Something is... odd about this one. Something he can’t quite put his finger on. It gives the wyrm more than a moment’s pause.

Whether or not this tavern quieted as it neared closing time was a bit of a crap shoot. Either the patrons amped up their volume in defiance or the numbers dwindled as they should have. Luckily this evening was an example of the latter, and Rosa was glad of it. It saved her a good amount of stewing in the corner.
Not that a headache didn't spring from other sources. Rosa's bad habit of withdrawing into herself was showing in spades and thoughts of home slowed the minutes to a crawl. What finally hooked her back to reality was the ring of the door's bell, a scarce thing at this hour, and the sweeping presence that followed. It had an odd cold to it, enough to jolt her from a reverie.
Boy. Talk about tall, dark and ugly. She spoke up in silent apology for the thought.
"If you're here for a drink, better make it a quick shot. Pretty sure they're closing up shop soon." Not that she'd made any move to vacate the premises herself.
