EeeeeEEE just got this fabulous commission from @rosenkranz-does-things (check out their sketch commissions HERE and their other commissions HERE) - this is by far the most Harriet of Harriets I have ever seen! The command this artist has on facial expressions is absolutely excellent, I am SO PLEASED with this!
(little context; Harriet's a vampire researcher, Victor's a vampire, both are characters from my story Bloodmood, which is largely a silly comedy story with some gore and monsters that I post about @bloodmoodtrash)
Image description for those who do not use alt text;
Double spread of sketch pages. Left page shows Harriet, a scientist, surrounded by surgical tools, a handheld UV light and a bottle of garlic oil spray. Below her is Victor, a vampire with pointy teeth and pointy ears. Right page shows Victor looming over Harriet, a hand cradling her face, and she stares up at him, finger on the trigger of the garlic spray but for the moment she has stalled on spritzing him; she's trying to keep her expression firm and neutral but she's caught like a deer in the headlights.
