mott-dandy asked blood-spilled: "Are you scared of me?"
The boy is quick to draw his attention to the other, doe-like eyes meeting his as soft lips parted in some sort of shock. “—Define scared.” His voice is more gentle than he’d like it to be, but he can’t help it. “I…I mean, sometimes, I suppose…Yes..” He can feel the air getting tighter, blue hues unable leave his gaze.
"There are times though…" He purses his lips, "Where you do scare me, but it’s a different type of scared, not like before." The corner of his lips twitched upwards momentarily, falling back into place. "Before I thought I was nothing, and granted sometimes I still do…I don’t know how to explain it, but our spiritual wave lengths have connected, I’ve learned to cope with it."
Dandy wasn't quite sure what reaction he'd expected when he asked, if anything maybe a simple yes or no or a timid nod of the head but never something like the response he'd been given. Though it weren't all a surprise, Logan did that a lot -- plucked at strings he shouldn't have, the more tender strings that Dandy hated acknowledging, the strings that made him vulnerable to hurt.
He'd let the silence linger a moment, pondering what to say without appearing too soft or too weak but with the words, 'our spiritual wave lengths have connected,' he couldn't help the corners of his lips curling into a smaller smile. His hand found it's place upon Logan's shoulder, a gentle yet firm grip as he exchanged the gaze with intent blue hues, "You're not nothing," He stated, "I'd not keep you around if you were nothing." His hand moved slowly down the boys arm to now grip his wrist, "Do tell.. if you're not scared how you originally had been, how is it that you're scared now?"
