Can we all think about bloodhound holding octane's face by the cheeks so they can make eye contact. This can be in a soft and tender context of them being alone and at home, with no judgement from the world. Or being in a fight, chaos surrounding them as time seems to slow down, for bloodhound to making him face them while they're enemies when he's downed. Have we all thought about that

Sleepy Time Junction

Octhound/ Bloodtane Fanfic! (More so Implied but hush)

(Also ive given up on giving fics good names so like,,, this is what you get for the title) 

     Silence. 

It's one sound-- if you can even call it that-- that Octavio despises.. The way it seeps into his skin, twists the thoughts in his brain towards darkness, a heavy feeling settling in his heart.

The bed the speedster is laying on suddenly seems too soft, threatening to swallow him whole and keep him in that dark and forbidding prison. In a flash, Octavio is up and out of the bed, his legs leading him out into the kitchen.

 Before he even realizes it, an energy drink is in his hands, and he’s walking outside of the apartment he and most of the other legends share. 

With a heavy sigh and a shake of his head, Octavio decides to head for the park, a common place for him at this time of  night. Listening to the chirp of crickets and the distant hoot of owls always seems to calm his nerves. The full moon illuminates the sidewalk in front of him, the occasional truck passing-- on the way to stores, he imagines. The cool breeze feels great in comparison to the hot blanket back in his room. 

Sipping from the energy drink, Octavio makes his way to a bench that sits along the forest line, slumping in said seat. His gaze turns to the sky, his eyes lazily watching a bird fly around. A crow-- he wonders if it's Artur. The thought makes him laugh. A small yawn escapes the speedster, going to take a sip of the energy drink again, though a whine leaves him when he realizes it’s empty. 

A quick gaze around the park tells him that there is a trashcan near the playset, and he really should get up to throw it away. Instead, Octavio slips the emptied can into the pocket of his pale green hoodie, yet another yawn escaping. Sleep starts to take over his mind, a numbing sensation coming along with it. Laying on his side, Octavio decides that a few more minutes outside won’t hurt, but one thing leads to another, and the speedster is pulled awake when he hears a sharp noise. 

Well, awake might not be the right word. Octavio sleepily nuzzles into the warmth of... whoever is carrying him. Small curses leave them, but Octavio really doesn’t care. He feels.... safe. The person holding him won’t hurt him. A quiet thank you is muttered from the half asleep speedster, before he falls back into blissful nothingness.

They stare down at Octavio, suddenly very aware that his goggles had been knocked off.

And it almost makes something in their chest stutter.

Oh, Freyja, you are so cruel.
