Sapphire was in need of a coffee before going to rehearsal. Her first big acting thing and she was nervous. She had every right to be. She didn’t know how she was going to do but she was going in with every boost of confidence. After she grabbed her coffee,she turned around too sharply,almost dropping her coffee. She gasped as she said,”OH my god I’m so sorry...” But then she looked to see who it was and grinning. “Wait...Stefan? Oh my god,hi!”

           Stefan Salvatore. One of Rebekah's most trusted advisors, if what she heard was true, and unlike the annoying Petrova, more likely to fall for her...charms. She already had the Queen's attentions, but they would fade fast, perhaps even before she grew tired of life in the castle and began to long for the freedom of the woods again. She needed to work quickly.

           It was not all that hard, to talk her way into Stefan's private chambers. She had a lot of experience with such things, after all; these guards were not particularly special, and certainly not clever enough to see through her. If they were, they'd have called for reinforcements, or better yet thrown her in the dungeons immideately. Instead, they'd allowed her access to the rooms of a fairly influencial member of Rebekah's council; stupid. Even if she were little more than a whore in their eyes, they should have known better.

           Hayley got to work immediately, eyes scanning around for anything that might even look like information. Even being here was a start, though; there were some who would pay handsomely for a detailed account of these rooms, and the ways access may be gained. She found a desk, rifling through papers quickly before she heard someone approaching. Before she could be caught in the act, she made her way to his bed, leaning against it with a smirk on her face. Whoever entered would only see the glorified prostitute, doing her work - and that was perfectly alright with her.

"Hey," Stefan greeted Katherine with a small smile, walking over to where the doppelganger was in the living room. He'd been slowly but surely distancing himself from his brooding thoughts rather than Katherine. It was progress. "Any New Years Resolutions, Kat? Only a few more hours left." He knew that it might be a silly question considering how long they'd lived, but you never know.

As soon as she heard his voice, she smiled turning her attention from the fire to him. "Hey yourself." Her dark eyes watched his every move as he got closer to her. Standing up she met him halfway, the palms of her hands moving up his abdomen and towards his chest, until she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Just one -- to be a better girlfriend to you.  To prove how sorry I am and this time I'm not going anywhere."

On the 3rd of October I will of had this blog for a whole year. It doesn't feel that long in the slightest! So writing Katherine has been a part of my life for quite sometime now and I hope it lasts even longer.
