Backstory: Richie is a fairly normal kid who grew up loving superheroes, in a world where they're the norm of society. He's the most outgoing and upbeat of the group, still retaining childlike admiration of superheroes, especially Mighty Eagle. Richie met his friends all at once in a comic shop when he was 9, with all of them looking for the same comic book: Lion Man #100. From there, the kids shared their love of superheroes and became friends. Richie however is the most superhero obsessed out of the group as he collects comic any chance he gets. However, his favorite hero of all time isn't of the World's Finest or any other hero in Excelsior.
He wishes for super speed so he can be like his childhood hero, Boost the Badger, the main character in his favorite video game series. Richie was given the very first game in the series as a gift for his birthday when he was five. He thought it was lame looking at first, but later he played the game for four hours straight. Since then, he's used his birthday money to buy Boost merch every year. He was always amazed how Boost manages to save everyone in every game's story, no matter how strong his opponent is. That day, Richie wanted to become a hero as fast as him.
After an accident involving a villain takes away a childhood friend, Richie blamed himself for not being fast enough to save him, even to this day. Since then, he's wished for speed so he can save anyone who needs it. Not wanting another life to be taken away because he hesitated. That way he's a step closer to becoming a true hero.

Much like the Wish Granted designs this took a while to actually get to. Making the art took less than a day, but its GETTING to draw is the hard part for me! 😂 I drew Richie first since he's the leader and the easiest to draw. And each character's outfit will have a similar base, with details that make them different from each other. Richie also has parts of his outfit that's supposed to reference Boost, especially in his shoes.
