Bio:

As a child, Carrie saw a famous illusionist perform incredible feats of magic, including making a baseball stadium disappear. This inspired her to become a illusionist herself and tried to learn every possible trick, believing that the abilities could be used to capture bad guys. She also had a fascination with the mystery of how each feat was pulled off, which made her use a lot of her classmates to test them out. Because of her love of all things supernatural, it made Carrie the resident "weird creepy kid" at her school. Even her parents thought her love of of the supernatural was a bit strange. So she decided to keep it all to herself, never to show it to anyone ever again.

Isolating herself, she didn't dare to make any new friends and decided it was best to be alone rather than mocked or feared.

After she met the rest of the group, she immediately thought they would want to stay away from her just as her original friends did. But was surprised when none of them seemed to mind, a couple of them even wanted to read her comics of Professor Peculiar! While she never showed it in her face or voice, she was extremely happy to find new friends that accepted her. So she can put up with their weird behavior every now and then. The others maybe be rooting for their favorite hero on TV while reads a good book, but she's enjoying having fun again.

When Richie tells everyone they need to do the impossible to save everyone, it could prove to be the greatest magic of all by defeating this greater evil.

Bonus info:

• Carrie and Cass originally had swapped personalities, with Carrie being more upbeat while Cass was more serious.

• She was originally into horror and magic in the first draft. Now she's more into supernatural and mystery.

• Carrie's favorite hero is Professor Peculiar, a former scientist who uses his magical abilities to conquer monsters. (Parody of Doctor Strange)

• Despite her being more pessimistic, she does have fun with the group, having some bit of optimism of becoming a hero thanks to Richie.

• Has a small crush on Tim, but always masks it by teasing him with sarcasm. It annoys him, but that's what makes it fun for her.

Author's notes:

Finally got another one done! The art had actually been ready, but a lot of heavy RL events had started, so it had to be put off. Honestly, Carrie was the hardest to create. She's heavily inspired by Raven from Teen Titans, but I didn't meant her to be a complete copy where she didn't stand out. So I really hope her design and bio are good. 😅 I also wanted her powers and interests to tie into how her personality was developed, which explains why she has that deadpan sarcasm so much.

I'm either drawing Jason or Cassandra next, and those will be even more fun! Plus, I will be doing a redux of Boost the Badger's profile now that he's getting a spin off and I've developed his character and world more (before and after the crossover with SuperZeroes). So look out for those!

- her telepath best friend who doesn't hold back opinions

- her protective father who's also fighting his own inner demons

- and lastly a failed drunken mentor who's just winging it somehow
