jack mccoy just sarcastically suggested creating a new category of self defense for women (they're looking at a case where an allegedly battered woman killed a man in self defense, but it wouldn't have been legal self defense since it has to be an immediate and proportionate reaction to count) and he might have been cooking with gas fr. the man was trafficking her in japan and she escaped to america so years later he came to america and she tracked him down and killed her. am i supposed to think she's wrong? sounds like self defense to me sorry

As a fan of obscure-ish foreign literature and as someone whose New Years Resolution still somehow remains intact, I’m very much enjoying reading “Blue Bamboo.”
