The cheers were being led by Margaery Tyrell and her hens. A lot of uproar for very little. You would think the boy had won a tourney. Tommen! Cersei saw it was her son training with Loras Tyrell.
“Did you see?” Tommen asked everyone. “I broke the lance. I broke it.”
“You rode a splendid course”, Loras praised. “You must do it every day, my king. I’ll practice with you.”
“He was glorious.” Margaery kissed her little husband. “Tommen will be the champion.”
“When he is a man grown”, said Cersei.
Their smiles withered like roses kissed by frost.
“Mother, did you see me?”, Tommen burbled happily. “I broke my lance on the shield.”
“I was watching you. You did very well. One day you’ll win every tourney as your father did.”
Margaery gave her mother-in-law a coy smile: “I never knew King Robert was accomplished at the joust. Please tell us, which tourneys he had won?”
A flush crept up Cersei’s neck. The girl had caught her out. It had been Jaime she had been thinking off when speaking. I must not forget myself.
“He won the Battle at the Trident greater than any tourneys. But what is going on here, Ser Loras? That horse was much too large. What if Tommen had fallen off? You are here to protect him. Training him is not your province.”
“Someone has to teach him how to be a knight”, Loras answered.
Cersei didn’t want her son getting close to Loras. The knight of Flowers was no sort of man for any boy to emulate.
“Tommen is your king, not your squire. Fight for him, die for him. No more. And now come with me, Tommen.”

The Blue Bard
This was @grungepopgay‘s character in our last campaign. I went all-out on the shield detailing and hand-painted each individual feather. The metallic details on the front don’t pop as well as I’d like though; could have used more layers or highlighting.
Friendly reminder that Cersei had the Blue Bard tortured until he went insane. ✿◕‿◕✿
