That aside I genuinely hope Blue Deep gets the rest he needs, I've read around that he got some pretty serious stuff going on and had a lot of medical controls, and the notice also mentioned that he struggled even sitting down at first. He now can do it for some hours, though it's still worrying.

The comic industry is a scary thing I'll be honest, we keep hearing of authors getting sick and needing to recover both mentally and physically. I remember that Doom Breaker used to be weekly and I'm sadly not surprised that the author got sick given the quality of the illustrations, even if he had buffer chapters there's still some intense work going on behind the scenes. When he comes back I hope Doom Breaker will become like monthly so he has more time to work on it and doesn't need to exhaust himself like that.

Even if it's a chapter every two months, honestly, I'd be fine with it; I'd get impatient to know the rest of the story of course, but whatever is best for the author's health would make me happier than a weekly chapter.
