New Bands I’m Listening To!!!

I’ve recently stumbled across three new bands via Twitter that I’m really enjoying so far, and I thought I’d just throw them up here!! It seems as though they’re all in their earlier stages and definitely deserve more love!!

1. Awake At Last

-Alternative Press’ Taylor Markarian has described their style as “Dark pop, hard rock, and post-hardcore com[ing] together for a powerful and entirely unique sound.” They have around 42,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with their most popular track being Purgatorium. Definitely worth a listen!! You can find them on Twitter at awakeatlastrock.

2. Blue Helix

-Blue Helix is an independent alternative rock band that takes inspiration from the 90’s movement by blending melodic and modern hard rock together in a fantastic way!! They’re currently sitting at 2700 monthly listeners on Spotify, and their most popular track is Anti-Social Butterfly. You can find them on Twitter at bluehelixmusic.

3. September Sky

-September Sky is a metal band that has been described by some fans as a mix of Disturbed, Tool, and Alice in Chains. They take inspiration from and use a magnetic twist of alternative grunge rock and thrash metal. These guys seem to be the most underappreciated with 320 monthly listeners on Spotify, with their most popular track being The Fight. I haven’t listened to these guys as much as the others yet, but I’m really liking them so far! You can find them on Twitter at septembersky_.

Overall, these bands all deserve a lot of love and support for their music!! I’m glad that I found them and can’t wait to see what other things they do in the future!
