there's a fine line between standing up for yourself and your needs, and blowing something mediocre out of proportion and going "waaah waaah waah woe is me" and then using it as an excuse to make people feel sorry for you and get out of responsibilities

i've never been able to find this line. not even now. but honestly i'm so low rn i don't even care anymore. who the fuck cares if other people in my position would deal w/ it better and make decent lives for themselves, right. i can't and that's all that really matters
