Deal with the DMV first. THEN drink. Hugs!
Thank you! I did end up going to the DMV website and ordering a replacement license there (and had to pay a $17 fee...ugh). It said it will take like two weeks for my new license to come, which...again, ugh. I'm just annoyed that I don't know wtf happened to my license...I called every place that I've been to over the last three days, and none of them had it. Sigh...

#Where is this FROM?????
It's from the Official Due South Companion :)
^ this book. it contains a lot of pictures, information about the characters and show and stories about some of the actors like this :D it is amazing <3
there's also a due south official GUIDE, which I also own. that is a different book, but just as great (it has less pictures, but lot's of very interesting background info and trivia and stuff..):
They're not always easy to get your hands on (especially for people who, like me, live outside USA/Canada and also do not have a creditcard..), but I really recommend buying them if you happen to stumble upon a reasonably priced copy :)

Well said, and good for you. Also, doing something offensive as parody, for the clear purpose of shining a spotlight on the offense is manifestly different from doing something offensive because it would be a cute costume for a party.
Thank you. And that's the thing that made me angry the most but at the same time, I knew it was coming. He was saying as if the struggles are the same and their not. When Eddie Murphy dressed as a white guy for SNL he was actually doing social commentary. I've seen the skit, I know what it's about. Joni doing blackface was literally her thinking it was cute and taking a caricature of black culture as seen through the eyes of white media and donning it as if she were being ground breaking and speaking on something deep and political, which she wasn't.

What stage are you in? Writing “the end,” polishing, filling in the holes? Filling in the holes was my downfall. Hang in there, you’re doing great!
I'm not sure what 'stage' it might be, exactly, but I'd call it the "Getting stuck under the weight of trying to extract a giant chunk of my soul and throw it into a Word document so instead I barely write anything at all and stare at the computer screen with a combination of loud frustration and quiet rage" stage. Haha. I've taken to having a pad of paper and pen next to me so I can just free-write and get the flow going, and it is helping a little so far. I just hope this will get easier over the next few days or I'm in trouble. Haha.
Thanks so much for reblogging the post about Monkee Magic! You're helping to spread the word, and I appreciate that very much.
You’re welcome! I plan on buying a print copy when I get my next paycheck.
Hey, folks! I made an appearance on the newest episode of Zilch! A Monkees Podcast!, which also features my friend bluemoonalto and is dedicated to discussing Peter Tork. I was asked to come on to talk about Peter's endeavors as a solo artist. My segment starts around the 50:20 mark and goes pretty much to the end. I hope you guys will check it out if you're so inclined!
