I did not write a lot these weird last weeks. But here’s a sample envelope from a nice little project I just finished! I think English Roundhand aka Copperplate is still my favorite style after all … I used a mix of Dr. Martin’s Bleedproof White plus a tad of Finetec Luna Gold to add a little warmth and sparkle – combining two of my most loved inks. Recently Anthony Baus came to my studio @portoatelier for a figure and perspective workshop. This is my take on that week. The model was the most muscular human I ever drew... ... I imagine guys like this back in the iron age resisting the occupation of the Roman empire... It's been a loooong time since those events in the Peninsula but I really hope they gave those invaders a hard time... 🤘

Well, this one was a long time in the making. The chiyogami was originally paired with orange paper and it just wasn't right. After I paired it with the blue, the piece just came together.
