3 Day Blueprint Juice Cleanse
I’ve always wanted to try the Blueprint Juice Cleanse ever since I saw it on certain people’s blogs & I finally had the chance to this summer. I made sure I had three days free because I don’t think I could commit to this cleanse if I were to go out. The only thing is, I was suppose to prepare my body for the cleanse before I started it and I did not eat as healthy as I could this week. This might have made my first day much harder than it would normally be.
On Wednesday I picked up three days worth of the Renovation Cleanse at Whole Foods...and here goes!
DAY 1 I totally slept in and had some chocolate the night before, so not a great start. I think you are suppose to pace yourself with the juices but I just drank the first two within the first two hours and paced myself from there. I was surprisingly not hungry, but I did crave certain types of bad foods. To distract myself from thinking about food I binged watched Parks & Rec. on Netflix. What I noticed from the first day was that I felt weak as the day progressed with some slight headaches and a bit of lightheadedness. I was tired by 9:30pm and wanted to go to bed.
DAY 2 Today I did not feel weak at all and no sign of hunger. I did cheat a bit and had some watermelon, broth and a banana. This kept me sane. I went out for a bit during the afternoon and felt a lot more energy than I expected. People have said their sense of smell was heightened during their juice cleanse. I think that may actually be true for me today. The watermelon also tasted really sweet to me, but my mother said it was not sweet at all. Overall, my cravings were pretty much in check, I did not feel hungry, felt more energy, and I think my sense of smell and taste were heightened.
Tomorrow will be Day 3!
