Unpopular opinion: Maybe the Pale King was a good parent who just fucked up a lot...I understand there are people in the fandom who ‘dislike’ him but I honestly feel really bad for him...(god this game is so fucking sad (╥_╥) （ｉДｉ）

Agree and disagree...

No one can argue that what he did to his children was cruel, but he did it with the intention of protecting others, if he didn’t care he could had left, is not like the Radiance could’ve killed him.

I don’t think he was a good father, but if his most precious and painful memory was a moment with the Hollow Knight, I think he wanted to be, but in order for the HK to remain “pure” he had to distant himself.

And in the end sacrifying his child was his undoing. He just lock himself and waited for death.

That’s my interpretation, the Pale King was full of flaws but that’s what made him interesting.

Well, to answer your question, the story does continue. People may not be aware, but the story continues in ‘The Past That Bleeds The Future’, starting off after Snatcher’s fight with Moonjumper. It’s in the works but I’ve managed to make the first two chapters and currently working on chapter three.

This has been brought up by some others before but I would believe the “Queen” Marmu’s waiting is not White Lady, but the Radiance. She could be related to the moths since she is based on the caterpillar of Puss Moth. Also her dialogue would echoed a bit more to the main plot if we fit Radiance as the “Queen”.

- One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon

Either let her be able to fly when she’s still alive

or let the whole Warrior Dreams squad to sign her adoption paper
