hello! we’ve never rly talked but i just rly wanted to say that i adored ur fic so so so much!!!! it was a different perspective on a r/ fight (one i’ve never rly seen before) and i love how u dealt w it. that specific kind of angst (that i’m not naming bc spoiler) is also something i really, really love and seeing the aftermath of it is—beautiful, really. and james in the end!!!! gosh i love that man. and his revelations were a+. i really really hope u write that part 2 (even tho this was amazing as is) bc i just rly wanna see more protective, angry james and regretful remus ykno?

My god, thank you so much! I'm absolutely thrilled you liked it. I like attacking things like this, these themes that you really just don't see enough of in most fiction, even fanfiction. The aftermath and fallout of things like that should be addressed and focused on, or so I think. It spreads awareness in an accessible way that's also...entertaining? And I use that word very lightly, because of course it's a very heavy topic, triggering for a lot of people.

And I won't lie about this bit, the James losing himself all over Remus was fun in a stressful sort of way. But I just really love James and everything about him, especially how much he just cares.

About that part two - it's definitely happening. I'm actually in the process of discussing it with someone else, just working out some kinks, so expect is soon (and yes, there will be much more of angry James and regretful Remus, you can count on that).

And not to self-plug here (because i'm really guilty about it when i do this, i don't know why), but if you like these sorts of...things, grief and regret and stuff, I wrote another thing a while back.
