♕ ┆AFFECTION:
Uta’s affectionate side is surprisingly mellow. His ways of showing affection to friends and loved ones is actually fairly normal. The difficult part of Uta’s affection is garnering it in the first place.
He easily glides from group to group, rarely finding a person to be remarkable or important. To the ghoul, everyone is replaceable-- well, almost everyone. If you somehow worm yourself into his true social circle, then you’ll find these sorts of actions as signs of affection:
Uta is a tactile person, so he easily clings to those closest to him, whether it be by simply laying his legs on the other person’s lap, resting his head on their shoulder, invading their personal space on a regular basis, etc.
He is also quite the clown (lol) so he loves pulling harmless pranks on his friends (his enemies, however, experience his trickster side to a devilish degree). Teasing and gentle prodding are also common from him when he’s around people he cares about.
♕ ┆LAUGHTER:
Uta’s laugh is often described as scary-- though it may be more due to his appearance than the sound itself. His genuine laughter is often quite soft and low, but you can truly tell that it is a laugh of mirth if he’s still grinning long afterwards.
Needless to say, when he is truly trying to be scary, his laughter is the type you’d hear in a horror track for a movie. It has, on occasion, scared both Renji and Kaneki, much to the mask maker’s delight.
