Dreaming of a black Christmas

Day 7 and yes, its me again! My friends wanted to embrace the Christmas spirit and have a Christmas jumper day yesterday whilst having a coffee and a mince pie. Being the scrooge I am, this was the best they were going to get! The I Eat Mice Sheer Bootlegs are far more stretchy than other legging fabrics BM have brought out and the snakeskin is subtle but sassy! I normally wear my spartans and bootlegs without a skirt but I thought it would be a bit much for a Sunday afternoon in town, so I toned it down without losing the sheer greatness of the panels (see what I did there?) Nothing goes better with black than more black, so my festive jumper matched my soul whilst the Docs split up the outfit ever so slightly. - Lily x

Right, Day 6. This is what I wore to my office Christmas do last night. My most favourite dress that Black Milk have released, the Nightfall dress. Super perfect for winter because of the velvet bodice and the double layered skirt. I paired it with my Matte Black leggings because they’re just thick enough to keep cosy, but not too thick that they make me feel like I’m melting when indoors! I threw a warm faux fur coat on over it to keep warm while outside! Christmas Shopping Comfort

Its Day 5 of the advent calendar and Saturday, so I am rushing to get my Xmas shopping done! Need to wrap up warm in the wind so ultimate comfort is required! The Cavalier jumper was never on my wishlist but after grabbing a bargain second hand I wear it all the time. Its mega cosy and versatile, with enough length for butt coverage when wearing leggings, if that kind of thing bothers you. Many have asked what the material is like and the best way I can describe it is like a thick but holey cardigan with minimal stretch, so its great for layering. I’ve kept it simple with a long black vest and my Thunderstorm leggings (and matching make up)  because well, it's pretty stormy in the UK right now and my hi-tops for ultra casual comfort!

Now to go and fight the crowds!

Christmas Party - Gothic glam

On the third day of Christmas, a blog post gave to me, a look for a Christmas party!

Lily here! I don’t know about you but Black Milk maxi dresses always make me feel like a princess that glides elegantly around a room (even if you have had a few too many tipples). For a truly elegant look, the burned velvet is a winner but I wanted a little bit of edge and the black galaxy maxi is so flattering and stands out from the crowd.

I’m a little conscious of my arms, so a chiffon kimono dupe from H&M does wonders, whilst dressing up the outfit too! This waist belt from Ebay is my go to accessory for almost every outfit, accentuating curves and adding a little more attitude. Any fancy black flats hide under the length of the maxi for comfort!

Layering Warmer Weather Pieces Hey lovelies! Melissa here, for Day 2 of our Advent Calendar! I live in Las Vegas, so I have A LOT of warmer weather clothes. Our winters tend to be all over the place, so you never know when you'll need to bundle up (or remove a layer!) last minute. I love showing off my thigh tattoos, so shorts and hosiery are always a win. The Sporty Stripes are nice and thick, and of course the Black Velvet Wood Chucks help keep you toasty. I'm a sucker for loose tanks, so I of course added in my Twist Back Top 2.0. Finished it off with the striped cardigan, knit beanie, and neutral buckle boots :D
