A/N: I haven’t shared anything from these two recently and i missed them so here they are.

A slight gap in your blinds betrayed you, pulling you out of a deep sleep where your dreams were filled with a pleasant reality. Nothing extravagant needed to come to you in slumber anymore, just the memories of days and nights spent with him. Laughing, joking, making love and silent promises for a future that felt full of hope.

You almost groaned, you almost cursed the stream of light pouring down directly on your face and waking you up until the sound of soft snores flooded your senses.

“Francisco,” you mouthed as you felt the curve of the nose that you love so much nestled into your hair, you recognised the wonderful weight of his arm wrapped around you and his hand possessively gripping your chest. He wasn’t there when you got into bed last night, and he wasn’t supposed to be there when you woke up this morning.

But my goodness, you were glad he was.

Slowly you turned, making sure not to move too quickly and have him awake with a jolt or a slight fright.

His face was relaxed, the ghost of a smile still lingering on his plush lips and that dimple that your fingertips silently called home was prominently etched into his cheek.

“My Frankie.” you silently murmured as you reached up to gently brush his face with the pads of your thumbs.

The facial hair that you loved so much was getting more scraggly and a new patch of grey hairs had broken out since you’d seen him the morning before. But it was the adorable gaps that had your heart pounding, the little patches that screamed out for your lips to fill in and gently pepper the smooth skin with your softest show of love.

You couldn’t resist. It was like you became magnetised and your lips were being drawn to the patchy spot closest to you. The world seemed to stop for a few seconds as you felt stray hairs tickle your face, your lips ghosting against that soft spot of skin and pulling away before pushing back.

One kiss. Two kisses. Three kisses. And finally he gave you a soft stir. Four kisses. Five kisses. Six kisses. And he gave you a soft whisper of ‘Mhmm buttercup.’ Seven kisses. Eight kisses…

And on the edge of the ninth; you got his hand moving up without hesitation and softly gripping your jaw as he tilted your face to meet his lips. His eyes finally opened as his mouth enveloped yours and his tongue begged for entry.

You could never deny him.

It was possessive, it was passionate, it was a spectacle of fireworks and a symphony being blasted out for you two to hear only. His mouth was one of the seven wonders of the world and you felt like the luckiest person in the world to get to call it home.

“Good morning, buttercup,” he murmured against your lips, refusing to part them from yours as he spoke, “I missed you.”

“I missed you too, Francisco,” you purred, before your lips battled against his for another loving display of dominance.
