It’s been decided that you need a little dose of civilisation.
Bon voyage.
For Nixon Week 2020 🎈🍾🍾🍾 🎈
I always had such a deep appreciation for this scene, and only now have I been able to pinpoint reasons why. Maybe it’s the way Speirs holds onto Grant’s hand so tenderly, how he rubs it every now and again in hopes that the other man feels it. Or, it could be Talbert’s face in the back, the way his anger emanates from his body without him even needing to say a word. Or, maybe it’s the way the plasma shines bright in Doc Roe’s hand, a stark contrast to his darkened silhouette. The cigarette in the doctor’s lips, the sigh he makes, surrendering to what he thinks is inevitable. Perhaps, it’s the fact that all these factors make this sequence so beautifully haunting and sad.
wildpip_morley: As part of the #bewellbekind campaign I wanted to share some of my self care routine with you guys. Exercise. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. But it helps me manage ruminations and focus on breathing, moving and being present. And a good sweat is good for your heart too! Help me raise funds for @namicommunicate and @littlehlearning the link is in my bio. #bewellbekind #breakingthepovertycycle #breakthestigma

Band Of Brothers Edits - George Luz
The stories about me. You want to know if they're true, right? You know the funny thing about stories like that? Everyone always says they heard it from someone who was there. Then if you ask that person, they say they heard it from someone who was there, and so on. I bet if you went back 2,000 years, you'd find a bunch of centurions standing around talking about how Tertius lopped the heads off of some Carthaginian prisoners.
“Don’t do anything stupid? Who the hell is he talking to? A bunch of morons who volunteered to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Can you get any more stupid that that?”
