Sharing Spirituality

Yoga has made me more spiritual lately; it has allowed me to hone in on how I feel within this world and among the earth-dwelling species. I come back to this inspiring and enlightening piece:

Ignorant people often feel that they are treated unfairly by circumstances and that their talents are not appreciated. Intelligent people often say that conditions are testing them and that they can create their own future.

Mud can grow a lotus flower; a humble family can foster a filial son; a furnace can forge iron and steel; hardship can shape a great man; bitterness can transform into bodhi.

The brave create destiny; the weak rely on destiny; the kind observe destiny; the wise change destiny.

Calmness is the door of wisdom; diligence is the seed of success; gratitude is the wellspring of happiness; repentance is the correction of error.

Life with suffering and happiness in full; life with success and failure is logical; life with gain and loss is fair; life with birth and death is natural.

Recorded back in 2013 in Bangui (Central African Republic). It's a collaboration between Amos Kangala and Boddhi Satva Official. The title "Siriri" means "Peace" and speaks about breaking and stopping the spirit of tribalism, religious hatred and other forms of hatred that have led this amazing country where it is now.  It's also dedicated in the loving memory of Igor Kombot-Naguemon, who passed recently and who's actions where devoted to bringing righteousness in the country.
