For Day 1 I wrote The tongue of a man is tied on this
In a different world it is Trilla Suduri — Jedi Knight and rebel — who Bode is tasked with befriending. However she does not trust easily. Seducing Cal Kestis is the obvious solution; but the red-head has his secrets too.
For Day 2 I wrote who is the lamb and who is the knife
This time Bode realizes what is happening. He killed Cal; he's stuck in a loop of betrayal and thrice now he's killed his best friend. His second chance at love dead by Bode's hand.
Or: Bode keeps killing Cal on Jedha. He just wants it to stop.
For Day 4 I wrote In the Tapestry of Fate (our threads will always tangle)
They're sitting in the garden, watching the sun rise over Koboh's bluffs. Cal is a warm weight on Bode's shoulder, the Jedi slouched comfortably against Bode's side. If Bode doesn't think about Tanalorr, about the ISB, about anything it could a perfect moment.
"Bode," Cal says, voice soft as the early morning sun. "Do you think we're best friends in every life?"
Or: A pattern is explored.
For Day 5 I wrote Circles of Gold
The best day of Cal Kestis' ends with him winning an Olympic gold medal. The second best day ends with an invitation to dinner.
For Day 6 I wrote Once Upon a Dream
Cal has been asleep for two weeks and Bode is running out of hope.
For Day 8 I wrote all fire (and the wrong kind of love)
Cal’s life is perfect. He couldn’t ask for a better job at the Jedi temple, a better his future Padawan, or a partner.
So why can’t Cal shake the feeling that something is wrong?
