I recently got a labret piercing (literally 2 days ago), and I'm kinda nervous because it's my first lip piercing. The first 24 hours after getting it, it didn't swell at all. But today it's swollen, and there are little red splotches on my inner lip. It looks like the back might be digging into my lip as well? The bar is long, and leaves room for swelling but I'm still nervous. And now, after the swelling, the back keeps scraping against my tooth and it hurts. I'm also worried about the jewelry because even though it's "surgical steel", it could still have nickel in it and I am 100% allergic to nickel. I have no idea what to do, as I know I can't change the jewelry this quickly but also don't want to risk an allergic reaction or infection. Can someone give me advice?

im stretching my ears and the last two sizes (14g my pierced size, and 10g) were both consumed almost fully by my ear and so I have gone to an 8g w/o any pain at all like it was already at that size?? is it possible that my ears are retaining the 6g I had when I was a scene kid and damaged my ears super bad? and when I say consumed I mean like the tunnels were slipping through (single flared) so idk????? I have in 8g now and I'm hoping my ears won't consume them like they did previously to my others. Is this a normal thing??? idk (Also I put in the 10g bc the 14g and 12g were like too small for my ears and the taper slid right in as if it was already that size, same with the 8g. There was no burning or tingling or generally anything.) This was all within the past week btw and that sounds bad but I got annoyed digging the tunnels out of my ears and decided to see if bigger would help and it did, without any pain.

Someone help me please. So today I stretched my ears to 00g, I have my tapers in, yes I know that's wrong. But I bought single flared o ring plugs and they won't go in! I tried lubing it, I lined it up with the taper and tried to follow through. Normally I have no problem doing this and it goes right through. But it wont go through the back. Someone help me! I can't wear tapers to work tomorrow!

hey modified followers, is it normal for a microdermal's base to move a while after its been healed? it used to be pointing down and it looks like it moved around 45degrees, and now the top looks like its coming off at an angle.... ill post pics in a bit
