So I Heard We’re Probably Going into the Last Season of the Gao Generation.
And then I made a couple of lists of my unrealistic wants/hopes for the season and my realistic expectations. (I know there is going to be a tournament but honestly, that arc will be like 17 episodes max unless they have more than one episode between battles, 8 episodes minimum unless they do two battles per episode then 4 minimum. That is not a Buddyfight length season. But also I wrote these before finding that out.)
Unrealistic wants/hopes:
Sofia to have a redemption arc that includes her finding Terumi and giving her her memories back complete with an apology as well as her apologizing to Shido or at least them having some closing interaction, and Sofia’s history with Kyoya(the 5 ws and h of their relationship explained please.)
or Sofia to just return and have a completed story arc. Redemption or not.
Terumi to come back and get her memories back in some way because she deserves to be happy with the memories of her life
plot twist: Asmodai has secretly been providing shelter, food, etc to her just did not let Tets in on it so he did not have to deal with him constantly being sad that she had no memories
Rouga and Kiri to be besties like actually, officially besties, like someone to flat out state that they are pretty good/close friends

Monsters, old and new, reunite with companions long thought forgotten. As myth is turned into fact, the new Worlds are quick to integrate themselves back into society, with no small amount of difficulty. Still, it is a welcome return and life continues as it is wont to do.
So peaceful was this period in time that no one would expect a new terror to arise in its place, to threaten the peace of the universe…
We’re starting again! Cue the Buddyfight 100 2nd OP! This story has been along time coming, and it’s my great pleasure to present the next saga in these dragons’ lives.
