The hardest part of lifting, aside from, you know, all of it(technique, strength, speed) is your ability, or inability, to block out not just what's going on around you, but what's going on in your own head. Two weeks ago I hit 225 no problem, the last 2 weeks I haven't been able to hit 215 hardly at all. Some days 185 is a struggle. Today I worked up to a fairly mediocre 205, and while it didn't feel very heavy, you can see I caught the first one super low, and my elbows folded, then the second I rushed my grip and caught it lopsided. I was too in my own head, and that's fine. Some days it's going to be harder than others. Just gotta keep pushing.
