what is the origin of caison being "macaroni bone boy" ?
Aight. So this all begins in the kitchen of my home. I was fangirling about the book -Caisson specifically (I know, he doesn’t deserve attention)- to a friend when my mom, from the other room, goes, “Casein? Isn’t that a milk protein?”
And being myself, I found this unreasonably hilarious, so I posted it. This spurred a discussion. I was then informed by @stop-that-llama that “Cais” means “cheese” in Irish, this, he is the son of cheese. I was also informed by @davinamarr that “caisson” means “box” in French. And some unknown person straight up called him a casserole.
From thereon out, Caisson was referred to as some variation of “boxed cheese casserole”, usually involving the words “bone baby” or “bone boi” somewhere due to other posts made by @drakoni-s and @davinamarr. But that’s a pain in the ass to type, and really, a boxed cheese casserole is modern macaroni and cheese. I stated so.
And that is how we’ve taken this poor character who hasn’t had a chance to speak a single line of dialogue, and centered his entire existence around macaroni.
So I'm a little in love with the sona Ashley came up with for Dave Capdevielle
More practice but I kinda like this one!
