Wanted to take a little moment to share my chaos dog and my big brown bear, both who are across the rainbow bridge now playing in long grasses, jumping into puddles and chasing birds.
Zak, aka Chaos Dog, on the left was my Parents. They adopted him after his previous owners wanted to get rid of him. He was obsessed with babies and knew how to open doors unless you locked them. He was my parents fourth child, and the brother I never asked for but always wanted. He would come and lie with me when he needed a cuddle, and when he wanted to avoid medication. Almost every day he would come up and show me his chew, so proud. I would pretend to try and take it, because that was the game we played and he loved it.
Cody, aka big brown bear, on the right. Cody was my brothers, technically, although I was with him for a significant part of his life. He was my soul dog, he healed a part of me that I thought was forever lost following a dog bite. He was the biggest, most gentle dog I've ever met. He never growled, he never barked, he never bit or lunged. He wanted to be touched at all times, and to love and be loved. We taught him to remove socks off of your foot, and he was so gentle - of course, that just led to a dog who would steal socks from around the house and hide them in his mouth.
When he was a puppy, we would nap together when I got home from school, curled up on the floor together in a ball.
God I love and miss them both
Okay idk if this is like. A popular opinion in the bones fandom or even something anyone else had thought of
But I mourn the death of the angelator it was sooo much cooler than angelatron like angelatron is cool too but there’s just something so mesmerizing about the hologram of the angelator… idk
every time i rewatch House I have the same thoughts I do about Bones. Everyone is like the protagonist is cold, doesn't care.
But in season 1 of both, there are SO MANY examples of them caring SO MUCH. You can care and still be an ass. You can still care and miss social cues.
You can care even while you insist you don't care.
If House didn't care he wouldn't have gotten into Vogler's face about the drug trial. If he didn't care he wouldn't have been so against that speech about a drug that isn't any different except a fucking antacid and it costs so much more money than the old one. If he didn't care he wouldn't browbeat people to make the right choice.
Also wild thought but $100 million was not worth how fucked up of a human being Vogler is. House is what's wrong with the health care industry? Maybe what's wrong is treating patients like banks.
If Brennan didn't care, if she was cold, why was she crying about children multiple times? Why was she defending them when everyone else wanted to shit on them? Why did she pay for the funeral of a woman she didn't even fucking know? Why did she refuse to intimidate a woman in Spanish if she didn't care?
Uh oh Bro, I can feel Gambit becoming my new personality arc for a while. XMen 97 was just the start of it ✊😔
Peak the new pfp for proof
thinking about jackalopes,
specifically the fact the it is a combination of the words jackrabbit and antelope but that they are physically depicted as a hare and a deer mix. how did you get that wrong twice? Should be called haer or dere or should look completely different. I suddenly need a biblicallly accurate jackalope drawing pronto.
i watched 12 seasons of bones so if you ever want to question my taste in tv and you don’t use that as ammunition you’re not serious
“Not one or many could ever hope to fully command the dead. Necromancy as a subject is that of puppetry! They never commanded their legion with charisma unable to obtain full loyalty. Do they reward their hard work? Are they but simply cast aside once broken or out ‘lived’ their usefulness? The forced servitude to a master whom which cannot lead. Leave me but with a crowd and words alone shall my favor be gained.”
