Bonfire (Jujutsu Kaisen) ✨Tickleween 2025 ✨
Nym's Tickleween!
Day two- let's GOO!! :D Today, I bring you the darlings from JJK! Tomorrow, who knows? (I do- but you'll have to wait and find out hehe) I hope you like it!
Day 2: Bonfire
“Then…just when she thought she was safe, there was a loud, single knock at her door.” Yuji’s voice was low and creepily theatrical as he leaned forward towards the fire. “The worst part? The knock was coming…from inside the house!”
“Ooo!” Nobara and Gojo squealed like school children- grabbing each other's hands dramatically. Megumi on the other hand was struggling not to yawn, not at all impressed. Maybe it was his own hobbies playing against him, but all the “scary stories” he’d heard so far tonight were things he’d heard time and time again.
Not that he’d voice that outloud. He wasn’t about to kill the vibe of the evening.
“She knew she should listen to her instincts, but her feet carried her slowly towards the bathroom door..” Yuji had stood up, creeping around them all slowly like a monster, hunchbacked and clawed. “She reached for the handle, pulling the door open and peeking out.” When did he get behind him? “She looked left,” His voice was suddenly very close to his ear. “Then right.” He switched sides, his breath tickling Megumi’s neck. “But there was no one there…”
Cliche story aside, Yuji certainly had a presence. Megumi felt oddly tense at how close he suddenly was.
“She thought she was safe, but when she looked in the mirror..” Yuji leaned away, seeming to disappear. Megumi waited a moment, then another. Gojo and Nobara weren’t looking at him, rather waiting with baited breath. Where was Yuji going to pop up?
“THE KILLER WAS THERE!” Yuji suddenly screamed out, his hands grabbing Megumi’s sides and pressing into his ribs. All three of them screamed, though in his case it was more a shocked squeal. “Ahhhhh!”
The Kern Baby, a Northumberland tradition. The latter photo from Sir Benjamin Stone’s Pictures (1906). “The Kern was a custom of the festival of Ceres once observed in Northumberland, UK, at the close of the reaping. Once the last sheaf was cut this effigy—with white dress, colored ribbons and head of corn ears—was brought out to preside over the harvest festivities“ (@publicdomainreview)
As will be noted from the first three photos, this takes place on St. John’s Eve, June 23 marking the nativity of St. John the Baptist, traditionally observed six months before that of Jesus.
