2. Can you do a handstand?

I haven't attempted one in ages, but my guess is that I can't do one anymore, because I messed up my left shoulder pretty badly a few years ago 😬 But even as a child I could only do a handstand against a wall, so 🤷🏻‍♀️

16. Favourite dog breed?

Fun fact: as a child I was super scared of dogs, but nowadays most of my favourite breeds are huge 😄

I particularly like Bernese Mountain Dogs, Airedale Terriers and Irish Wolfhounds. And Alaskan Malamutes, of course.

9. favourite scent: Not sure if I have a favourite. Maybe citrus, mint, and freshly cut grass (although my sinuses may not agree with that last one).

14. average sleep hours: I sleep a lot, although right now I’m not sure what quality my sleep is. I usually sleep 8-10 hours. I feel ill on anything less than 6-7.

15. dog or cat person: I’ve never had either, so I’m not sure. Can’t I love both?

16. number of blankets you sleep with: I think right now I have a duvet and 2 blankets. I like being warm in bed, and comfy. All the comfy.

17. dream trip: Well, my dream holiday to Vancouver was supposed to happen last August but of course it did not. Right now my dream trip is to LA to visit @lord-of-killer-indecencies <3 

18. blog established: the blog’s archive says I made this blog in December 2017. Now, I had my first James blog as a side blog to my original main but then decided to make a new blog just for RPing my James muse. But I didn’t use it much until this year. So, while I made it in 2017, most of the posts will be from 2020.

19. followers: 84 (it was 86 earlier but I blocked a couple of suspect blogs that looked like they were either bots or porn blogs)

oh, that’s a Last Tango in Halifax fic, set post-whenever (because what is time, really), in which—”for reasons,” according to the very much still in the mostly notes with a few sentences of actual writing phase draft—Caroline moves in with Gillian, they both end up finally getting the therapy they both need, and they realize the totally physical, no really we’re just friends with benefits, setup they’ve settled into is actually more than that? and that maybe they’re allowed to be happy? and are, in fact, happy?

also Celia disappears. possibly Caroline’s house swallows her up and she’s trapped in there forever (this could also be why Caroline leaves)? this started out life as a meme response (found here) that I liked too much and started trying to actually write.

3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?

Not sure if they count as tropes but anything dub- or non-con. Also at the moment, angst.

4. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

There is a situation an irl friend is in that could absolutely be a fic, and I have pondered it:

Bernie, newly separated from Marcus, needs a place to move into as quickly as possible. A friend puts her in touch with Serena, who is looking to rent out her house while she goes on sabbatical...

But I’m not doing the writing thing at the moment, thanks to life. Hopefully i’ll get back into it soon.

This is a brief, lighthearted, Tales of Ba Sing Se style jaunt through a little corner of Ard Skellige, featuring young Ciri, a cottage that’s almost ready to move into, a proper introduction to Tissaia’s horse, choosing the perfect canine companion, and hijinx with Kollr, the young boy who lives on the edge of he small town nearby. A little sweet, a little sad, and a lot of humour.
