!! HAZARD & SOMERSET MYSTERY REREAD!!

- A 34 DAY COUNTDOWN

In the run up to the release day of The Rational Faculty @andrewminyarrr and I are doing a reread of the first 6 books in Gregory Ashes absolutely fantastic Hazard and Somerset series!

Starting today we have 34 days. That’s 5.6 days per each book! And I’m going to be posting at least one ‘something’ for each book! It might be art or edits or some kinda meta or idk what! But I’m gonna try to make content for each book as I go!

I absolutely adore this series and have done since the day I picked up book one (Pretty Pretty Boys) over a year ago now.

I am so very excited about getting to return to this world and these men and their wonderfully nuanced relationship and dynamics.

I invite you to join in with this (re)read! Whether you know the series already or decide maybe some good slow-burn/crime fiction might be a good choice to try out just in time for Halloween!

I would like to find more people to talk to about these books and characters that I love and to perhaps grow a little bit more of a fan base so we can share in our enjoyment and show the ray of sunshine that is Gregory Ashe some of that love!

I highly recommend this series if you are even remotely interested in queer crime/ mystery stories! (Tho I suppose it needs to come with some content warnings so don’t dive in completely blind if that might throw you off)

As I said, I will be rereading all 6 books that we have so far and posting cross-platform content for them on here, Twitter and Instagram in an effort to not only to celebrate a series that I love but also to spread the word and hype up the continuation of said series! I hope you’ll join me if you’re interested or if not, at least enjoy the content to come!

Ms. Miriam, she/her, the local grandmotherly character who runs the bed and breakfast

Samson Chambers, they/them, secretary to the mayor and full of energy

The Kids, they/them, three little troublemakers who love to play games

Ebony Belle, she/her, photographer and night-owl and tremendously shy about pda

Lottie, she/her, very much in love with her girlfriend Ebony and likes to be comfy

Florence Chambers, she/her, teenage sister to Samson who hangs out with her friends in the forest

Mr. Chambers, he/him, father to Samson and Florence who runs the funeral home
