HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND ALSO HAPPY BOOKDAY TO SKIAMAKHIA!!!
This next installment in THE DARK VAGARIES is a 90s era corporate thriller that tells the story of Kolton Moreau, a newly minted CEO standing on the shaky bedrock of a company only just beginning to make waves—waves that draw eyes of all sorts his way. For those who fell in love with Nines in LETIFER, I think you’ll enjoy seeing the set of circumstances that made Nines what he is, what led to his Turning, his familial fallout, and the other side of the story that belongs to Kolton and his ancient Sire, Elijah Eder, alone.
For fans of Vampire: the Masquerade, toxic family dynamics, NBC Hannibal dialogue, and relationships built on foundations more competency-based than romantic, you won’t want to miss this one.
SKIAMAKHIA can be read as a stand alone but is best taken alongside its companion title LETIFER.

🐓BOOK REVIEW : Well Behaved Wives -Amy Sue Nathan @amysuenathan (Lake Union Publishing)
Well Behaved Wives is very hard to put down. This historical novel is full of family drama and generational clashes as young Ruth is doing her best to adapt to her newly married life and achieve her dream of becoming a lawyer.
As she is doing her best to satisfy her new in-law mother, Ruth has also to learn etiquette and lifestyle of her new posh Philadelphia neighborhood. We are in the 1960s and women are expected to stay at home, being perfect while waiting for their husband to come home. It is not what Ruth wishes for in her life and the heroine is determined to do everything she can to achieve her independence dream, while pleasing her new family.
Amy Sue Nathan‘s writing is delicious. I find myself totally immersed in the story, wanting to know more about Ruth’s life, as well as what happens to the other women of the neighborhood. Definitively a nice discovery and a very interesting historical novel.
